Keith Haring Mural

 

The mural that can be found at the entrance is a Keith Haring original.

About 30 years ago, the students of the School of Visual Arts, where Mr. Haring was enrolled, had an exhibition in the space that is now this apartment. Mr. Haring decided to paint over this part of the wall with shoe polish. The white wall has been restored since but the shoe polish has been left alone. Even the drip marks have stayed intact.
